Robin Papadopoulos , a native of Berkeley, California, has spent many years living in Athens Greece, where she had the opportunity to apprentice with many of Greece‘s most storied costume jewelry artists. It was there that she learned the art of Greek design.

In addition to necklaces and rings, Robin's collections of ever changing jewelry pieces are focused for the most part on beaded bracelets with a variety of dangling charms. With a constant eye on the market places in many countries, beads are sourced from China, India, Greece, Africa and Java. Many of these are collected on her frequent trips to Bali, Indonesia. By incorporating many natural hand-carved bone and wooden beads, she gives her jewelry a distinctive design that highlights her unusual collection.

 

Her workshop had been a destination for numerous clients, eager to view her huge collection. If desired, Robin will create a bracelet based on her client's choice of beads and findings for a specific outfit or event. She has designed customized bracelets for various groups, including USNA reunions, college athletic teams and community social and non-profit organizations.
